Laura Blake provides architectural services for civic projects ranging from office, court, and public safety facilities, to arts, education, recreation, and fleet facilities. Her philosophy is based on the premise that working closely with a client and stakeholders to develop a well-thought-out and creative design will result in a great facility that serves its community well. Her approach is thoughtful and collaborative. It entails listening, helping identify needs and options, and building consensus for the option(s) that best meets the needs within an established budget or cost effective range. San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency
Facilities Framework, San Francisco, CA The SFMTA Facilities Framework is a master plan with two options to rebuild the agency’s three oldest bus yards to meet modern needs. Scenario 1 entails a new developer built facility, while Scenario 2 entails rebuilding the yards as multi-level facilities. The SFMTA selected Scenario 2 and Laura Blake is assisting the agency with the first phase to rebuild the Potrero Bus Yard. |
