Palega Recreation Center, San Francisoc, California The renovation of San Francisco’s Palega Recreation Center improved park access, indoor-outdoor connections, and all indoor and outdoor spaces. A new porch-like entry and adjoining outdoor play area replaced a difficult to find entry and remote play area. New multipurpose rooms replaced a unused stage and grading converted a slope lawn into a soccer field. Laura directed this project while a principal at Mark Cavagnero Associates. |
